Joseph Karam, Chief Operating Officer at Ishraq Hospitality, has held leadership positions across Thailand, Qatar, and the UAE. He has previously led the Onyx Hospitality flagship property Amari Watergate Bangkok, held a stint as Hotel Manager at IHG’s hotels in Dubai Festival City, was holding a leadership position in Qatar during the Asian Games, and was working with Rotana Hotels Management in Dubai. He was also the Cluster General Manager for the Holiday Inn Express Jumeirah and Crowne Plaza Dubai Deira and Dubai Jumeirah, before becoming Group Director of Operations for Ishraq overseeing the performance for 8 hotels since 2022. With a focus on operational excellence and personable leadership, he implements creative initiatives while cherishing time with family and friends outside work.
