Dr. Helda Al Osta provides high-level leadership, strategy, and advocacy in managing the hospital’s pharmacy services. She develops, implements, and evaluates the hospital’s policies, procedures, and standards of practices affecting patient care in alignment with departmental and regulatory objectives.
Her responsibilities also include planning annual pharmacy budgets, performance review with hospital CMO and employee performance.

Dr. Osta is also working as Deputy General Manager, UNIMED (sister company of American Hospital Dubai); Assistant Director of Pharmacy, American Hospital Dubai; Pharmacist Informatics Officer in American hospital Dubai, and Pharmacist in Charge in reputable pharmacies in Dubai and Baghdad. She has been a lecturer in the Pharmaceutical Department at Ajman and Baghdad University/Pharmacy College.

Dr. Osta has an M.Sc. Pharmaceutical Technology and Industrial Pharmacy degree from Baghdad University and has completed MIT Management, Sloan School Executive Program Artificial Intelligence in Healthcare. Her opinion is much sought-after by the UAE media on pharmaceutical regulations.
